We have four generations and over 60 years of knowledge and experience in the pavement maintenance industry.  We proudly manufacture and distribute industry leading STAR branded products and   are backed by STAR’s team of research and developmental chemists’ expertise. This allows us to provide our customers with the best products in the industry.  We pride ourselves with our exceptional customer service by going above and beyond the needs of our customers.  It has always been our goal to provide our customers with top-quality products keeping our customers satisfied and happy to return.

Our History

We began as Kol-Tar, Inc in 1954 supplying 5-gallon pails of driveway sealer and pavement maintenance products to home centers and hardware stores throughout the Northwest.

In 1992 we entered the contractor bulk business due to the increasing demand from local contractors.

We discontinued the retail 5-gallon pail business in 1998 to focus on our contractor business, which continues to drive our company to this day.
